Chicago

“I adore Chicago. It is the pulse of America.” ~ Sarah Bernhardt

The best thing about living in and selling homes on The North Shore, is the proximity to the best city in the world, Chicago. Known as “The Windy City,” Chicago sits beautifully on the shores of Lake Michigan and has a rich history and vibrant culture. From the iconic skyline featuring the Willis Tower (still The Sears Tower to locals) and John Hancock Center to the eclectic neighborhoods like Logan Square, Lincoln Park, and Chinatown, there’s a spot for everyone. Dive into the city’s dynamic food scene with its famous Chicago hot dog, deep-dish pizza and diverse dining options, or enjoy the arts with world-class museums, Millennium Park, theaters, and music venues. Sports fans will love cheering on the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and more.

With a robust economy, excellent schools like the University of Chicago and Northwestern, and convenient public transit, Chicago offers the perfect blend of urban excitement and community charm. We experience all four seasons, with hot summers, cold winters, and beautiful springs and falls. The city’s weather can be quite variable, but we are tough! Whether you’re looking for a high-rise condo in the Loop or a cozy home in a historic neighborhood, Chicago has it all!
