Meg + Katie’s favorite things to do in Evanston:
We love listening to live music at the wonderful Space venue in Evanston. Attached to Union, a great restaurant, you can grab a gourmet pizza and enjoy live music in the wonderful intimate space.
Evanston is home to a newly renovated gorgeous public golf course called Canal Shores. It is an 82-acre, 18-hole, par 60 golf course located on the east side of Evanston and Wilmette. In past summers, it has been the home to a 3 night outdoor music festival called Out of Space. We love to ride bikes in the beautiful parks behind Northwestern University, with beautiful views of the Chicago skyline.
There are amazing restaurants in Evanston! We love Mustard’s Last Stand for a hot dog, located near Northwestern and we LOVE buying fresh bread at the amazing Hewn Bakery! Explore this great city on foot or on a bike and let us know your favorite spots!
